Question by Dizzy: Going on a camping trip but what to do about no refrigerator?
i’m going to go on an expedition for a camping trip. I’ve never embarked on one before but I just realized I have a problem. I can’t bring a refrigerator so how am I going to cool my food without one? Don’t tell me to buy a container with an icepack lol.

Two good possibilities. First, daily boil of most foods prevents spoilage, twice in really hot weather, if there is no cold can.
A cold can is a small steel galvanized trash can (new) buried deep up to it’s neck in a shady spot, and old burlap sacks and carpet scraps thrown on for insulation. Underground temp is in the 60′s, which ain’t bad, considering the wide alternatives, which include freezing! Fasten it down good wired to stakes to prevent flotation in wet wx.
